cool. finally done with my test! its worth a heapful 20% of my module and i was fretting over it since friday. =x

time now is 8.33pm. and my dinner is still beside me. haha. its cold already. when i do my work… i think i practically forget dinner. no appetite to eat too. i dun eat when i’m stressed. gonna microwave it later… =)

hmm… i’ve been training up for my run on 30th August! i’m fundraising for the Aussie Cancer Research Foundation. and to do that…. i’ll be running! =)
really cool my mom is supporting me all the way for it… she is the best if not THE BEST haha. my first donation was made by her.
cycled say 6 times up and down the brissie river at constant speed yesterdae. wanna train up my stamina. been running quite a fair bit throughout the last few weeks too.
i’m pumped. =)
and rowing is tml! i’m pretty excited each time i get up at 5am in the morning to row. twice a week, 5am. which is pretty cool. u get to row along the brissie river with the sunrise. and later i’ll take a nice warm shower at the clubhouse, and get ready for my lectures.
i’ve a really interesting lecturer for economics of financial markets this semester from belgium. her accent is so french. super french. when she says coupons… its sounds like cuuu pooons!~ which is really hilarious for me. haha. getting used to it.
i raise my hand in class, and told her about dutch auction in an ipo, as i read of it in the news before. and she said oh! that is the topic i’m gonna cover later… ur ahead of me! haha… its really interesting to learn of how ipo are launched with investment banks… how we can get conflict of interest and how investment banks underwrite the ipo… wad a myriad of reasons and they form such a “colourful financial fabric” altogether.

hmm. alrite. maybe i shall go start on my international trade and investment essay now…
the essay is on Costs, Distributional Issues and Protection…. “discuss the costs and distributional issues associated with protection given by a government of a particular industry”

had a lecture this arvo. lol. today’s topic was so technical that it left me with an entangled mind, trying to figure out all the derivatives equations and economic modeling. gotta untangle that web tonight i guess, and there are so many readings! =x
haha. alrite, a’lil on my weekend…
i spent my weekend up on Mt. Tambourine reflecting on the Word of God and enjoying the wonderful fellowship. it was totally awesome! i felt a certain closer proximity to God as i reflected and read the bible.
haha. there’s alot to tell, but i’m too tired to type it all out. (aka lazy. hahaha.) BUT~! it was REALLY AWESOME!

oh. rowing! despite the lack of much sleep, i woke up early at 5ish in the morning for rowing. lol. it was so COLD! haha. but when the sun rose up slightly higher, the air kinda warmed up to a more comfortable temperature. haha. and it was the first time i had brisbane river’s water splashed onto me. hmm. well, if anyone is wondering about the taste of the brissie river, its nice and bland. lols! *yucks. hahaha.
haha. but rowing was great! the sunrise and the serenity of the river (without the ocassional waves whipped up by the citycat ferries).
yea. i’m looking forward to this thursday’s rowing!
yup. its a wrap! its fri today and that means the first week of uni has already played out and we’re moving into the second week soon. =) uni’s been great so far. went to uni today even though i had no lessons. i went to search for books at the uni’s secondhand bookshop. found and bought one book, “investments – concepts and applications” which i needed for my portfolio course. i think its gonna be a really interesting course. after getting the book, i went to the library to study and revised the first lecutre. haha. i think i’m begining to show signs of a bookworm/nerd. i’m having the hallmarks of all things bookwormy. =x
well. i do alot of tennis though. haha. tt kinda counters and balances up my bookish side. =)

A surprise I gave my sis at the airport when i flew back to Singapore. An online exclusive (product) red ipod nano with her name engraved.
yup. today was the first day of a brand new semester!
well, what can i say? i got off to a late start! haha. i woke up at 1.30ish in the afternoon! and i’ve a lecture at 2? hahaha… it was brush (teeth), wear (clothes) and zoom (off to uni). totally crazy. but i din go to lecture straight (even though i was so late). haha. i stopped by at the cafe to grab a cup of coffee and a muffin.
well. lecutre was boring. i sat there looking bored. “bored” written all over my face. i left halfway through, packed up and left. haha. wad an unacademic unstudious way to start! tsk. simon leong.
oh well. haha. went to the library, sorted out my timetable. no more clashes now! =)

went for financial management lecture. its was awesome! met my friends from last semester, talked so much, it was great. the lecture ended at 6ish. lucky! it was supposed to end at 7!
haha, i din wanna end my first day at 7pm. its so late. and i was pretty tired. happy it ended early. =)
a truely pleasant and great first day. looking forward to more of uni!
haha. its time to study! i’m so gonna be studying in the library till late each dae. high aims for this semester. gotta look for a job too.
its been 2 weeks plus since i came home to Singapore. i’m flying back to brissie this saturday. how time seems to fly when your back home with family and friends. maybe i’m emoing now but i really had a great time in Singapore, i love spending time with my family, i enjoy the time spent with my friends, meeting up with close friends, old friends, catching up, coffee session at starbucks.
So many things to do, so little time.
but i make it a point to give most of my time to my family, i reserve full days to spend time with them, and this fri and sat is specially reserved for them.
i’m going out literally everyday and its pretty exhausting. Sometimes i feel i would just prefer to stay home, sit on the sofa, read, watch the telly and idle the time away (aka nua).
going back to brissie this sat. how time flies. soon i’ll need to be studying really hard for my academic goals. and i’ll be taking on volunteering work at the hospital if they reply me. and i wanna get a casual job too. i can kinda foresee a pretty busy schedule ahead now.
really dun feel like going back to brissie, i’m gonna miss my family and wonderful old friends.
